While searching for equipment to assemble our inventory, we also searched for Sony parts.  The parts we needed were for U-matic equipment, but we also found parts for several other Sony formats.  We have several thousand Sony parts that are new in the original packaging acquired from TV stations and service centers. Some of our parts are no longer available from Sony and are listed as NLA. The pricing is listed as a percentage of the current Sony pricing.  The percentage is based on the quanity on hand and continuing availability.

What is NEW? 
From SONY, the last person to see it, put a piece of yellow tape on the box.  Our NEW is it has not been installed. Some of our parts were remainders from Sony 10 packs, some were uninstalled parts that were included in a Sony overhaul kits. Some parts were kept in stock by savoy TV station engineers experienced with equipment failure. All of the boxed parts have been examined as to uninstalled condition. Some were photographed for the parts listing. The IC's listed have not been removed from their anti-static envelopes, and the parts that are thermosealed, have not been opened.

We purchase some of our recorders and players from rental companies. These machines have low usage, but lots of road rash.  Some of these machines have been dropped and although they still play tape to spec, they fall short for restoration.  These become parts machines. You can repair a used machine with a used part, "Working is Working", and a new part price could  cancel the repair.  The parts that are listed have been removed from working machines and are ready to ship.  I you don't see it listed e-mail the part number and model, we probably have it. A good number of parts are used on all models, and somtimes the model number on the box reflects the current model when produced, but fits following models.
