The BVE-910 is an A-B-C roll editor with special effects built in. The BVE-910 can control up to 8 machines simultaneously (1 recorder "master" and 7 players "slaves"). This is all displayed on the data monitor which the BVE-910 is connected to. This machine used the RS-422 9-pin connectors to control the players. This editor does not only cuts, but some transitions such as fade, wipe, and dissolve. These machines are more capable than the RM-450, however, they can't be transported as easily. These machines are perfect for multi-deck studio applications.

The BVE-900 is just like the BVE-910 except the machine controls are adjusted internally with DIP switches rather than automatically like with the BVE-910.

The RM-450 is a cut editor which controls one source machine and a recorder. Aside from only controlling 2 machines rather than the three, the RM-450 is as capable as a BVE-600 or a BVE-800 with about half the setup. The RM-450 features programmable memory which allows for sections of tape to be preprogrammed before editing begins. Click on the picture for a full description of the RM-450.

The RM-440 is an advanced editing controller used to control two machines, a recorder and a player, simultaniously. Its ability to frame count and pre-roll make it ideal for precision editing of your video source. The RM-440 features marked entry of your in and out cuts and a trim feature allowing frames to be cut or added. The preview and review allow you to see your edit repeatedly before the final assembly through the auto edit control. It also allows for short or long preroll times so suit your editing style.

|
The RM-500 is a simple remote which is used to control a machine from a place other than the front panel. It includes all of the basic VTR functions (Play, Stop, Record, FF, Rev, Pause) as well as search features which allow the video to be viewed in fast forward or reverse.
