They say the most important component to creating a movie is a good idea. If this is true then the second most important thing is a camera. With the astronomical costs of new professional video equipment it is very difficult to afford a new camera and recorder, let alone an editing system. Ten years ago, the cameras we offer were the top of the line. They have since been replaced by newer models, but they still produce high quality video at a fraction of the price of new equipment. Imagine this, you can purchase one of our cameras for far less that the cost of a weeks rental of a new camera.

This is a very overlooked Work Horse with a proven track record. This camera couples with several formats of portable recorders including 3/4" U-matic SP, BETACAM SP, and all pre SP, through either a 14-14 or 14-26 pin cable.
For those of you that don't know, the cable not only powers the camera, but returns video, audio, sync signals, intercom, white balance control, iris control, pedestal, color balance, bar generator and warnings from the video recorder.
I have a faily large inventory of used DXC cameras. I do basic tests, and those that pass, get opticaly cleaned and retuned to Sony spec. using a vector scope and Sony focusing charts. Then I run it for a few hours and check the spec.
